πŸ‘ Congratulations to Mr. Matt Linville, Director of Athletics, and Mr. Kevin Manley, Pre-Calculus and Honors Pre-Calculus teacher, on being recognized for more than 25 years of dedicated service to Augustinian education.

At our Senior Awards Assembly, both were honored by the Augustinian Secondary Education Association (ASEA) for their outstanding commitment to the mission of Augustinian education in North America.

For more than two decades, they have helped shape the minds, hearts, and lives of countless Saintsmen through their leadership, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to our community.

Thank you, Mr. Linville and Mr. Manley, for your faithful service and for the lasting impact you continue to make at St. Augustine High School. πŸ’œπŸ’›

πŸ‰πŸŽ“ What a way to close out their high school careers.

Just one day after graduating from St. Augustine High School, seniors Jameson Brown and Gavin Lowe traveled to Indiana with the San Diego Mustangs Rugby Club to compete in the 2026 Boys High School Rugby National Championships.

After winning the Southern California Youth Rugby Championship, the Mustangs advanced all the way to the national championship match, finishing as National Runner-Up after an outstanding season. The club faced the Charlotte Cardinals in the championship game and earned a second-place finish among the top high school rugby clubs in the nation.

Congratulations to Jameson, Gavin, and the entire San Diego Mustangs program on an incredible accomplishment. We are proud to see our Saintsmen competing at the highest level and representing St. Augustine with excellence both on and off the field.

πŸ€ Once a Saint, always a Saint.

The gym was full of familiar faces recently as several of Coach Haupt’s former players returned to campus to get some offseason work in with the next generation of Saintsmen.

Pictured left to right: Lolo Rudolph (Montana), Jurian Dixon (Virginia), Derrius Carter Hollinger (San Diego City College), Coach Mike Haupt, Jaden Matingou (Hawaii), Vince Ricchiutti (Wake Forest) and Ian De La Rosa (SDSU)

From Saints basketball to college hoops, these alumni continue to represent the Purple and Gold at the next level. It’s always special to see former teammates back on their home court, competing together and investing in the future of the program.

The brotherhood is lifelong. πŸ’œπŸ’›

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness have secured the freedoms we enjoy each day. As a Saints community, we pause in gratitude and prayer for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as for the families who carry their memory forward.

β€œGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” β€” John 15:13

May we never forget the cost of freedom.
