Thank you Women Moving Millions! We’re very proud of Deborah and all the work she’s done for many years to help women and girls, and their families, all over the world.

Congratulations to WMM member Deborah Lindholm, Founder and CEO of Foundation for Women, on receiving the Grand Commander, Star of Africa (GCSA)—part of the Order of the Star of Africa, Liberia's highest national honor.

Presented by President Joseph Boakai, the award recognizes Deborah's exceptional leadership and enduring contributions to Liberia. Through Foundation for Women, Deborah has spent decades partnering with women across the country to expand economic opportunity through microloans, education, and entrepreneurship. She has also been a steadfast advocate for Liberia during times of crisis, mobilizing global support and resources during the devastating West African Ebola epidemic in 2014-16.

Honors like this speak to the lasting impact of a lifetime of service. Congratulations to Deborah on this extraordinary recognition of her dedication to the people of Liberia.
