Performing at the Carmel Valley Branch Library this Saturday (11:30 AM)! Hope to see you there!

We had our last performance of the month on Saturday, September 28th celebrating the 12th K*k Gung (Korean Traditional Archery) Festival as well as Chuseok. It was an honor to be invited by Master Heon K. Kim's World K*k Gung Federation, one of the few if not the only place to learn traditional Korean archery in the US!

Some photos from the 59th Annual Poway Rotary Parade earlier this month! Loved seeing all the different parade entries and the people of Poway who came out to watch on a Saturday morning.

First performance since summer break as well as the first performance for new members! So much fun celebrating Chuseok at Poway Branch Library this past Sunday 💙

We’ve arrived at Jindo, Korea, and began our summer camp schedule (6/17~6/28) at the Jindo National Gugak Center.

Finished the month off with a special performance dedicated to the sweet and mighty Ms. In who celebrated her 91st birthday recently. This was our last event before we close for a short summer break. In a week, our members will travel to Jindo, Korea, for a 10-day workshop. We look forward to showing everyone what we’ve learned once we return!

On May 18th, we performed at the Asian Pacific Cultural Festival of San Diego. It was a beautiful day to be outside, and we got to see many friends and familiar faces in the audience. Thank you to Asian Culture and Media Alliance for putting together such a great event.

We started May with an AAPI month celebration at Ocean Beach Branch Library. We were excited to return after performing last year. This year, we had some time to teach our small hand-held drums to the audience, and it was so much fun playing together at the end!
