So proud of our 4th and 5th-grade Peace Patrol! 🙌 Every week, these awesome kids choose to give up their own recess so they can help out, walk students to the office if needed, and look out for the younger students on the playground. 💛
Seeing older kids step up and be such great role models is the best. Huge shoutout to them for making our school a little kinder every single day! ⭐️👏

🔥 John Muir Girls Basketball was UNSTOPPABLE this weekend! 🔥
Our team brought the heat on both ends of the court, sweeping the weekend in dominant fashion:
🏀 Game 1: Dominant win against Clark Middle, 20-8!
🏀 Game 2: A powerful shutout victory, blanking the competition 34-0!
So proud of the hard work, hustle, and teamwork these girls showed out there!!!

What an incredible night out with the John Muir Language Academy family! ⚽🌊
Our community brought so much energy and school spirit to Snapdragon Stadium to cheer on the San Diego Wave. 📣✨ From seeing our students representing in the stands to experiencing the thrill of live professional soccer together, it was a night to remember. 💙

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Today, September 15, is also the eve of Mexico’s Independence Day.
We celebrated at school today with our teachers dressed in gorgeous traditional outfits and Dra. Rendon rolled around with conchas, orejas, and Manzanita Sol. So proud of our roots! ❤️🤍💚

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Our Running Club started this morning! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Students kicked off the day with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of movement. We’re excited to see our runners build endurance, confidence, and healthy habits throughout the season!

A special thank-you to Ms. Kruggel and Ms. Orme for helping make this opportunity possible, and to our students for showing up ready to run! 🌟
