Hello, my name is Patty Crooks. I’ve been teaching piano in Scripps Ranch since 1999. Prior to that I taught piano for 2 years in Rancho Penasquitos.

As of March 2020 I am teaching all piano lesson online. I began teaching online lessons due to the quarantine caused by the Coronaviras.

I’ve found that a well rounded curriculum works best. This includes piano lesson books, theory, technique and various other songs; classical, pop, show tunes, jazz, ragtime, movie hits, and whatever else might interest the student.

I receive much joy from teaching piano and look forward to each lesson. It's a blessing to watch my students grow musically. Each student is different and enjoys different types of music. I tailor piano lessons to each student's learning style and musical preference.
