Hello everyone,
Enough is enough. We shouldn’t have had to wait for the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Tony McDade to act as an organization on the topic of police brutality. We am going to say something that is NOT new, NOT controversial, and ABSOLUTELY necessary: black lives matter.
We have always held this belief. As artists, we create to heal, protest, empower, and inform; everything that is necessary at this time. SOAR has always used sketch comedy to call out injustices and we strive to continue, but we need to do more.
We are committed to listening to the needs of both UCSD and the world. We are committed to not only celebrate, but DEMAND diversity and representation. We are committed to amplifying underrepresented voices. We are committed to dismantling the system.
Inaction should NEVER be tolerated. UCSD has been horrifically inactive, and it is up to us to demand change. We shall act not just during this moment, but during every moment for as long as this club stands.

Hey there! During these social-distancing times it's hard to continue our normal quartely live sketches...BUT, art must go on! This quarter, we have come together to create a series of videos based on true and real expereinces.
