For all you SDSU ceramics alumni out there, Helga (aka Big Bertha) is about to be dismantled and hauled away. They're enclosing it in a sealed plastic tent with its own ventilation system and filters while they break up the brick and insulation layers. This was the start of it this morning, June 18, 2025

Looking back through work I've done using an extruder I came across these sculptural vases I made way back in 2005. There are still just a few spots left for my workshop NEXT WEEK, February 3 & 4, at – go to their bio or oceansidepotteryclub.com to sign up for The Extraordinary Extruder. I'm thinking of revisiting these on a slightly bigger scale.

Our ceramics sale (along with the jewelry sale) starts this Sunday, from 3-6 pm, and continues Monday and Tuesday from 10-3 pm. Lots of great holiday gifts and items for your Thanksgiving table!
Also on Sunday from 3-6, there will be a reception in the Flor Y Canto gallery for "Not for Food", an exhibition featuring work form Intermediate & Advanced Ceramics Students.
