Still dreaming of the pines! 🌲✨ Way too many memories to unpack from Middle School Camp. So proud of our students for stepping outside their comfort zones and making it a week to remember!

Our kindergarteners had an unforgettable visit to the local fire station as part of our Community Helpers Unit! 🚒👩‍🚒 Students learned how firefighters help keep our community safe, explored the fire truck, and asked so many thoughtful questions. We are so grateful to our local heroes for taking the time to teach and inspire our students! ❤️🔥

🕷️🕸️ Our Second Graders wrapped up their literature study of Charlotte’s Web with a full day of themed learning and fun! After weeks of reading and discussing the plot, theme, characters, and making inferences, students celebrated by dressing as their favorite characters (lots of Ferns and Wilburs! 👧🐷), participating in reading and math activities, designing STEM pigpens with functional swinging gates, and enjoying a special Charlotte’s Web Reader’s Theater performance planned by our Fifth Grade class! Bravissimo! ✨

Three months of research, writing, and creativity--all leading to today!

Our 6th graders became experts while working on their Big Reports, then brought their countries to life through presentations, visuals, and even a taste of culture. So much pride in this room. 🌍✨

The 7th graders wrapped up their Outsiders unit with the annual Outsiders Day! ✨

Dressing as Greasers and Socs, sharing novel-themed treats, and watching the movie rendition-- this is the kind of middle school experience that sticks!

Kindergarten and 1st grade took a field trip to In-N-Out to connect their community helpers curriculum to real life 🍔👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 They toured the kitchen, learned about each role, explored the history, and enjoyed a well-deserved meal ✨
