TLC’s Artist Trading Card event was a great success! We loved seeing families get creative, make their own trading cards, and share their artwork with one another. It was a fun opportunity to connect through the arts!

A big thank you to our amazing facilitator, Luz Chung, for guiding us through this creative experience, and to all the families who joined us! We’re so grateful to be part of a community that makes space for art, connection, and creativity.

From experienced classroom tutors who build meaningful relationships with students to STEAM and SEL professional learning for teachers, we’re helping create school communities where military-connected students feel supported, understood, and ready to learn.

It was so nice to spend an afternoon connecting at TLC’s Community Mixer! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a great gathering. We loved bringing together nonprofit leaders, small business owners, and community members to share what they’re working on, make new connections, and learn from one another.

Here’s to more opportunities to come together, support each other, and strengthen the SD community.

☀️ UPDATE ☀️

We’re pressing pause on the party! Due to the extreme heat, our Back to School Teacher Party is being postponed. Stay Tuned: We’ll share a new date in the near future. We can’t wait to bring our teacher community together again soon!

In the meantime, stay cool and stay hydrated!
