The after image emerges with a picture of expertise in the Microsoft Suite of applications, particularly related to Excel and database management. Witness the transformation from waiting to action. Anita, a mother of two, thanks to the Women’s Empowerment program of U-TOUCH is no longer passively waiting for financial resources, rather with confidence and entrepreneurial skills she is powerfully generating income from multiple businesses. Impressively she is breaking the generational cycle of poverty by having the money to pay her children’s school fees. Anita has learned how to manufacture and distribute liquid soap, to make baskets, and to raise and sell poultry and now she is focusing her creative energy to learn about cultivating coffee. What happens when you empower women living in extreme poverty with entrepreneurial skills and confidence? Jane, a beneficiary of the U-TOUCH Women's Empowerment Program tells us her personal answer. She was able to start a business, make a profit, accumulate financial resources and pay for school fees for her family. With her business success, she has halted the generational cycle of abject poverty and equipped her children with an education, positioning them for success in their future. Gloria enrolled in the U-TOUCH Women’s Empowerment Program when she had no income generating activity. She had always wanted to start up a business but lacked confidence and even basic entrepreneurship skills. Upon hearing about the free women empowerment program at U-TOUCH, she enrolled and gained knowledge and skills in leadership, overcoming gender-based violence, building self-esteem and confidence and acquiring entrepreneurship skills.
With the little economic resources and newly acquired skills, Gloria eagerly started up a poultry farm. With great pride and enthusiasm she is now raising over 100 birds. She has also employed 4 workers and manages her accounting records well. With her U-TOUCH training, Gloria has now gained confidence to apply her newly developed leadership and entrepreneurial skills to build a successful business.
She can now not only afford her basic needs for clothing , food, and medical care, she is also able to pay her employees, pay for siblings to attend school and supports all her family’s needs. Gloria is deeply grateful, attributing her success to U-TOUCH, for her training in building a self-sustainable future! Go Gloria! 😍

What a transformation! Prior to U-TOUCH ICT training Aisha was afraid to even touch a computer. Now, with confidence in all the tools of Microsoft Office Suite she is looking forward to entering the workforce equipped with competency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. With enthusiasm, confidence and ambition… watch out world, here comes Aisha

Suzan had always had a passion of understanding the skill of crafts. She joined the women empowerment program at U-TOUCH and learned from a comprehensive array of curriculum including confidence building, promoting self-esteem, overcoming gender-based violence, and developing entrepreneurship skills. Suzan also benefited from practical, hands on skills where she was able to master how to make bead wallets, key holders, door mats, and baskets among others. She gained confidence and is also teaching others in the community, she sells her products and earns income from her business. She is grateful to U-TOUCH for the opportunity granted to her.

U-TOUCH’s sponsored student program works! Esther is one of the many GREAT examples of SUCCESS! She is a sponsored student studying at Stepping Stone Learning Center. Her family gives daily thanks to U-TOUCH for giving Esther an opportunity to be at school. She loves studying and her best subject is English and mathematics and her dream is to be a doctor. In her end of term exams, Esther scored highly with first class grades and was the best student! Esther was awarded a gift of a T-shirt of best Academic Achiever 2025.
The future is bright for Esther. Her early academic achievements bodes well for a very positive life trajectory 🙏❣️🙏
