We ♥ Mondays! On the first Monday of each month, the CEE shares a bite-sized teaching tip you can use in your course(s) immediately.

September's tip: Do a "Minute Check-In" at the end of each class. Ask students to write down the most important thing they learned and any questions they still have. This quick activity provides immediate feedback on their understanding and areas of concern. -Thanks to Dr. Colin Campbell, Knauss School of Business, for this tip he learned at Teaching with Cases: Engage, Energize and Challenge Your Students.

We ♥ Mondays! On the first Monday of each month, the CEE shares a bite-sized teaching tip you can use in your course(s) immediately.

Provide video or voice comments on your students' assignments. Our faces and voices convey meaning that isn't captured in text, and can make feedback feel more personalized. As a bonus, video and voice comments can be provided quickly, saving you time during grading. They are easy to record in Canvas, and there are many videos online that will show you how. Thanks to Dr. Jonathan Wadley, University of San Diego, for this tip!
