Dearest Youth Advocates...are you looking for a program that will knock your kids socks off and impact our planet?
Here you go...please let me know how I can help❣
Youth Advocates, 10/1/2021
My name is Diana Gribble, I LOVE and have been working with Children for almost thirty years. I have tons of experience working with children in many different facets and in many different positions.
I thrive in this environment because I was one of nine siblings, four of which spent time in foster care, and two of whom were made to give up for adoption.
Not having any children of my own, I started professionally working with children in 1990 at the age of 36. Initially taking courses at our local Community Colleges, moving on to working at a few preschools, after school programs, where I got immersed in creating cultural (performing Arts) programing the kids could perform for the school and parents. Did a few full on productions for a couple holidays. At one point built a puppet theater and created puppets out of stuffed animals for the children to recreate inspirational behavioral stories, to promote caring, sharing, responsibility and cause and effect.
I (and other teachers as well) would say my line of expertise is in the realm of (troubled, bashful, lonely, shy, disturbed….) kids needing to connect one on one or in small groups. I am a very firm yet fair Teacher. I hold kids accountable for what we are doing and where we are going, yet flexible if they are needing more time, nurturing or reassurance.
The program I am starting is called Life Lessons with Grandma G. The synopsis of the program is to keep it fun and interactive. Having the kiddos create how it will all fall into place will be part of the fun. The three main elements will be introduction to a new topic, interactive exercise or role play and a short meditation/conclusion. Approximately a forty five minute to an hour session/s?
Introduction is talking about the meaning (about the topic), their understanding and how we are not alone in what we know…or don’t.
The kids would be broken into small age appropriate groups.
Example role play/exercise to divide students into sections, some in front of the object, some to left side and some to right side….one child would come up front and hold a ball/balloon, this ball/balloon will have a line down the center with one color on one side and another color on the other side. Student generated questions for each other on what they see, how they feel about it, and does it change their perception. A little feedback.. This particular scenario would take on a number of characteristics, behaviors or issues we ALL deal with.
Topics (which is customizable to your core beliefs/characteristics) will include and are not limited to: Bulling, Respect, Self Esteem, Honesty, Integrity, Empathy, Trust, Patience, Benevolence, Independence, Assertive, Satisfaction, Body Image, Resilience, Social Skill and the list goes on. We all could use a little more education in any of these areas.
Then follow it up with a very short five minute guided meditation…Again an initial introduction into the meaning (eyes closed), what it has to do with us (being grounded) and how to practice (just breathing). “Meditation is all about the pursuit of nothingness. It’s like the ultimate rest. It’s better than the best sleep you’ve ever had. It’s a quieting of the mind.” Hugh Jackman
Initially I would like to offer them on a volunteer basis, evaluate and price accordingly at a later date. The more (Topics) in a series, the more cost effective!

Sincerely, Diana Gribble

Agenda for five session series of Life Lessons with Grandma G
Each forty-five minute session in a series will be broken down into four
segments Topic, Content, Feedback and Meditation.
Topic – “Respect”
First ten minutes defining topic….what is it and how does it apply in our lives.
Next twenty minutes on content….exercise, role playing or activity.
Next ten minutes on feedback….how can we use this in our lives?
Last five minutes on meditation….calm ourselves, center ourselves, ground ourselves.
The majority of Content portion of Life Lessons with Grandma G will be role-playing the do’s and don’ts of the topic, i.e. respect, generated by the participants.
A series of five sessions would be customized to the groups understanding (age) and learning abilities.
There will be five sessions in the series in combination of any of these topics; Bullying, Meditation, Va**ng Addiction, Respect, Responsibility, Self Esteem, Honesty, Integrity, Empathy, Trust, Patience, Benevolence, Independence, Assertiveness, Satisfaction, Body Image, Resilience, Social Skills, Finances and the list goes on.
This is a volunteer position for me, retired…give back to the Community and Kids!

Let's have some fun while learning about life.
My twenty nine + years working with young ones has been amazing.
This is about giving back to the planet my life lessons; twelve laws of immutable universal laws....cause and affect, action, attraction, etc. in kids terms.
We'll (smaller groups, classrooms) do some role playing (bullying, self esteem, etc.), interactive simple games, stories...etc. all age appropriate.
I am very creative and can connect on a very personal level with the kids, from age three through middle school.
I have a tremendous amount to share (motivational speaker) with the older young ones on bullying, being ok with your self, smoking (my addiction for forty years), unhealthy attraction vs surrender, etc.
I would love to come talk to the kids in your life (minimum 6) for free or speak to your classrooms (maximum) 35 eleven years of age and up).
You can pm me, email me at [email protected] or visit my soon to BE website www.lifeslessonswithGrandmaG.com.
Thank you!
