✨Sunday School - May 31
Today we celebrated the last day of our 2025-2026 school year! Alex led us with a shoorchbar and later students returned to their classrooms for their last goodbyes 👋👋. We are so thankful to all of our teachers, volunteers, and board members for making this school year happen 🙏🙏.

Այսօր մեր տարեշրջանի վերջին օրը տօնեցինք։ Ալեքսը առաջ մեր աշակերտներուն շուրջպար սորվեցուց եւ յետոյ վերադարձանք դասարան իրար ցտեսութիւն ըսելու 💕💕🩷։ Շնորհակալութիւն կը յայտնենք մեր բոլոր ուսուցիչներուն, կամաւորներուն եւ ծնողներուն իրենց սքանչելի գործերուն համար։

Here is our second recap of Sunday’s hantes! Mrs. Turvanda’s class displayed Armenian idioms and posters, Mrs. Lilia’s class performed the play “Tern Oo Tzaran” by Hovhannes Tumanyan, and Mr. Erik’s class sang “Hay Enk Menk” by Nune Yesayan. Thank you again to everyone for coming and bravo to our students ❤️❤️!

Here is the first recap of Sunday’s hantes! Mrs. Gohar’s class sang Arev Arev Yeg Yeg and the Numbers Song. We had Ms. Talia’s and Ms. Tamar’s class recite “Pokrig Hay Em” by Silva Kaputikyan. Lastly, Mrs. Arpine’s class performed Mesrob Mashdotzi Yerk, “Mama” by Silva Grigoryan, and their Aypenarani Hantes. ❤️💙🧡

✨Sunday School - May 17
Today was the day of the long-awaited graduation hantes! We are so thankful for all of our teachers, volunteers, parents, and students for making this happen 🙌🙌🙏. Here our students proudly sang Yerevan Erebouni, Mer Hayrenik, and other songs with the help of Digin Sona.

Այսօր վերջապէս օրը հասաւ մեր աւարտման հանդէսի։ Շնորհակալութիւն կը յայտնենք մեր ուսուցիչներուն, կամաւորներուն, ծնողներուն եւ աշակերտներուն որ կրցաւ կատարուիլ։ Հոս, մեր աշակերտները երգեցին Երեւան Էրեբունի, Մեր Հայրենիք եւ ուրիշ երգեր Տիկին Սոնային օգնութեամբ ❤️💙🧡✝️։

✨Sunday School - May 2
We are just two weeks away from our graduation hantes and our students are getting prepared for their performances. We spent the day with our usual morning prayer, snack time, song practice, and our usual activities.

Երկու շաբաթէն տեղի պիտի ունենայ մեր աւարտման հանդէսը եւ մեր աշակերտները կը պատրաստուին երգելու։ Օրը անցուցինք մեր սովորական ըրածներով՝ առտուայ աղօթքը, ուտելիք, երգի փորձ եւ մեր լեզուի մասին սորվիլը։

Last Sunday our Sunday School students together with the Homenetmen Scouts commemorated the Armenian Genocide with the rest of the San Diego Armenian community. They sang the national anthems of Armenia and the United States along with our teachers and volunteers. We are so proud of our new generation for remembering the Genocide and continuing the efforts of our ancestors for recognition.

Անցեալ Կիրակի մեր աշակերտները Հ.Մ.Ը.Մ.ի սկաուտներուն հետ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութիւնը յիշատակեցին։ Մեր ուսուցիչներու եւ կամաւորներու հետ Հայաստանի ու Ամերիկայի քայլերգները երգեցին։ Շատ հպարտ ենք այս նոր սերունդով որ իրենց նախահայրերուն պէս կը յիշեն Ցեղասպանութեան կոտորածները եւ անոր ճանաչումը կը պահանջեն։

✨Sunday School - April 26
Today we learned about the importance of the Armenian Genocide to the Armenian people, as well as symbolic motifs such as the Tsitsernakaberd and the forget-me-not. We also spent some time with Armenian letter practice and preparing for our hantes 🔤🖍️.

Այսօր սորվեցանք Ցեղասպանութեան կարեւորութիւնը հայ ազգին եւ նաեւ տարբեր խորհրդանիշներ՝ Ծիծեռնակաբերդը եւ անմոռուկը 🇦🇲🙏։ Դասի ատեն, նաեւ այբուբենին մասին սորվեցանք եւ պատրաստուեցանք գալ ամսուայ հանդէսին համար։

✨Sunday School - April 19
Another eventful day at St. Sarkis! Our students worked on Armenian holovs, did a Roblox bed wars themed activity, and some coloring 🖍️🎨. Digin Sona yet again gave some praise to the students for their hard work as well as our volunteers for helping the Armenian community ❤️💙🧡✝️. Bravo!!

Մեր օրը դարձեալ զբաղումով լեցուն էր։ Մեր աշակերտները այսօր հայերէնի հոլովներու մասին սորվեցան, «Ռոպլոքս»ի խաղի պէս խաղ մը խաղցան, եւ էջեր գունաւորեցին։ Տիկին Սոնան նորէն գովեց մեր աշակերտներուն եւ կամաւորներուն որոնք ամէն Կիրակի կու գան մեր գաղութին օգնելու 🙌🙌🙏։ Պրա՛ւօ։
