I turned in my final grades. Of all the years I have been teaching, I enjoyed this class the most. They were curious and eager to learn. I told them to stay in touch. I hope that they do.

School starts this week! I'm excited to meet my new class! It is so much fun to go through the semester, building upon each concept so it all fits together at the end.

The semester is over and I have turned in all of my official grades. The break is nice and needed to recharge. But I always look forward to the next semester and meeting my new students.

Please read on to see my experience and how I can help you!

Biology is amazing! It is awesome how organisms have adapted to live in the world. Learning biology changes one’s view of the world in many ways. I feel that it is important for people to start understanding at a young age how biology impacts them and how they impact biology. That is why my interest is in tutoring students from middle school through college.

I structure my lessons to make sure you are learning and understanding the concepts that are important to your instructors. You and I are partners. I know a lot, but I do not know everything. I am not afraid to say, “I don’t know” and find the answers to your questions. It is fun to hear your questions and what interests you!

I use different methods of teaching to make sure that we find a way that you can learn. I have either taught, or have a strong background in:

• High school biology and AP biology
• Introduction to Biology
• Microbiology
• Earth Science
• Molecular Biology
• Cell Biology
• Biochemistry
• Experimental Biology
• Physiology
• Genetics
• Medical Terminology

I am an adjunct biology professor and have taught biology continuously for twelve years. I have a PhD in microbiology/molecular biology. I have taught at seven different institutions, so I am accustomed to working with people of diverse backgrounds, experience, and education. Some of my students have never had a science class.

Message me with any question you may have. I look forward to speaking with you!
