Your company has a server on an intranet that is responsible for hostnames to up address resolutions, which of the following inbound ports should be open on the server in order to facilitate this function
A.21
B.25
C.53
D.80
E.427
F.548
The correct Answers is Port 53 DNS port reason that after seing host name to IP address resolution, inbound port and server I have to know that it’s only DNS server that’s responsible for name resolutions and it’s port is numbered 53 for example when you open any browser eg www.google.com this request is sent to a DNS server and this guy will translate the host name into an IP address before it goes to a DNS server and to do that port 53 should be open

Compare companies A,B and C??? which company has abetter approach to computers hardware policy what specifications can you recommend for company C, who should use which device and why??

Companies A, B, C, and D are all startups with no extra money in their budgets. None is a technology company, but all are dependent on computers and typical business software in their normal course of business. Each company has 12 employees, all of whom use computers for varying jobs, with one of those employees serving part-time as the IT person. All computers are Windows machines.
The two companies A and B take different approaches to the hardware they acquire and use. Company A wants the latest and fastest computers they can get for a decent price, thinking also about which employees are using the computer. As a result, they have a real mix of hardware, with the CEO and the CFO having the fastest computers with the most memory. The other employees all have different brands and models of computers with different specifications, depending on what was available at the time each employee was hired. They also have a mix of different printers, with one color laser of one brand, one black and white laser of a different brand, and a dot-matrix of a third brand.
Company B believes in standardized hardware. All of their computers are middle-grade (not the fastest or the slowest, not too new and not too old), and all are the same make and model, with the same specifications. They spent less on their computers than Company A, and they put the extra money into buying three identical color laser printers.
Companies C and D have different approaches to software. Company C allows employees to set up their own computers with whatever software makes them most comfortable and productive. As a result, some people run Microsoft Office, while some run LibreOffice, and others run Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Company D standardizes all software on each computer, with Microsoft Office installed on all computers. Installing nonstandard software requires permission from top management and is only allowed if there is a strong business reason for particular employees.
There are pluses and minuses to each approach, both from a company standpoint and from an IT maintenance standpoint. Discuss what you think is good or bad about the different approaches. When might one approach be more appropriate than another? What pitfalls do you see in any of the approaches? What would change if the companies had fewer employees. What if they had many more employees?
