See flyer for list of accepted electronics items. Please note some items, including light bulbs and batteries and paper shredding, will be collected for a fee. Large household appliances are not accepted.

Please do not leave any items outside the collection hours or outside the school office.

Sunday morning we cleaned up the front of the school. Three trees trimmed, two sidewalks cleared, three islands w**d whacked, and w**ds as tall as a 2nd grader pulled.

We didn’t get photos of everyone but had an awesome group of parents and Penguin students! Thanks to Brian, Loic and Clark, Reza and Sarah, Viraj and sons, and the Stockton family.

This Sunday, April 30, 9-11 AM, let's meet in the front parking lot and trim overgrown bushes and tree limbs that are blocking sidewalks, growing through fences, etc. The district cut back the w**ds but still lots to do.

Bring any yard tools you have: pruners, shears, small limb saws, green yard waste bin to take clippings home for Tuesday recycling, utility wagon, etc.

The left turn lane to Camino Del Sur south is still partially blocked. Left turns are still allowed. Just enter the turn lane after the cones.

Please also be aware of the new “No Right Turn” lights that may illuminate at the traffic signal. As always, please yield to pedestrians young and old in the crosswalk.

It’s also our Spring Paper Donation Drive* to stock the school copy room so bring a ream of paper along with the In N Out.

*Paper donation is optional and not required to attend Picnic With Penguins*

We’re prepping for Movie Night!
Mulan starts at 6:30. Families are welcome to set up chairs at 5:30.

Kona Ice treats will be available for purchase. (Sorry, no hot dogs tonight.)

You are welcome to bring dinner, snacks, and drinks along with chairs, blankets, and some warm clothes. Once the sun goes down it will cool off.

Free popcorn, punch, and water available at the DADS snack table.

DADS Movie Night
This Friday, March 3
Movie begins at 6:30 PM, seating begins at 5:30 PM.

A special second movie night of the school year with the 1998 animated classic, Mulan.

Treats from Duff’s Doggz and Kona Ice will be available for purchase.

Free admission and popcorn available to all PVES families.

We’ll be on the back playground so bring chairs, jackets, and blankets to stay warm. Forecast is for clear but cool weather.
