As we head into summer, I’m reminded that education is not just about lessons, worksheets, or classroom routines.
It is about relationships.
Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, valued, and capable. When students feel that someone believes in them, they begin to believe in themselves too.
This year was filled with growth, challenges, laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments. I am so grateful for the memories we made and the relationships we built.
As educators, parents, and leaders, we have the opportunity to shape more than minds.
We shape confidence.
We shape courage.
We shape belonging.
We shape futures.
“It takes a big heart to shape little minds.”
To every student, family, and educator who made this year special: thank you. I will carry this class in my heart, and I am excited to see how each student continues to grow.
Love,
Mrs. Hoang-Nakata, M.Ed.

This beautiful bouquet from the parents means more than words can express. It is a reminder that education is not just about lessons, worksheets, or milestones — it is about trust, partnership, love, and the village we build around each child.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your child’s learning journey. Watching your children grow in confidence, curiosity, and joy is truly one of the greatest gifts.
Feeling deeply grateful, appreciated, and inspired to continue helping young minds shine. ❤️
With heartfelt gratitude,

Yesterday, I had the honor of hosting a graduation celebration for my precious students.
As I watched them walk forward in their little caps and gowns, my heart was filled with gratitude. Each child has grown in their own special way — with courage, curiosity, confidence, and joy.
This moment was more than a ceremony. It was a celebration of every small step, every brave try, every lesson learned, and every beautiful milestone reached.
May our students always remember that they are capable, loved, and full of possibility.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kimly Hoang-Nakata, M.Ed.

The Art of Storytelling!
This summer, give your kids the skills, confidence, and creativity they need to become great storytellers.
Storytelling is more than just making up fun stories. It helps children learn how to organize their thoughts, express their ideas clearly, use their imagination, and connect with others. These are skills they will use for the rest of their lives—in school, friendships, interviews, leadership, and future careers.
When kids learn to tell stories, they learn how to:
Build confidence
They practice speaking up, sharing ideas, and feeling proud of their voice.
Strengthen communication skills
They learn how to explain, describe, persuade, and connect with an audience.
Boost creativity and critical thinking
They learn how to create characters, solve problems, and build meaningful messages.
Develop empathy and connection
Stories help kids understand different perspectives and relate to others.
Prepare for future success
Whether they become doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, artists, leaders, or anything in between, the ability to communicate through story will help them stand out.
This summer, let your child discover the power of their voice through The Art of Storytelling!

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students from all walks of life.
Many come to us carrying more than academic challenges. Some carry doubt. Some carry fear of failure. Some have been told, directly or indirectly, that they are not capable.
But as educators, we often see their potential before they can see it in themselves.
One core key I have encountered again and again is self-belief.
When students begin to believe, “I can learn. I can grow. I can improve,” everything changes. They become more willing to try, ask questions, make mistakes, and persevere through challenges.
This is where true transformation begins.
At Achieve Education, our MindSmart Learning strategies are designed to support students not only academically, but also emotionally and mentally — helping them build resilience, confidence, and a stronger belief in their own ability to succeed.
Great educators do more than teach content.
We help shape identity, confidence, and self-belief.
To my fellow educators, parents, and mentors:
What is one core key you have encountered in students that has impacted their learning the most?
