No magic ball here. Just real results.
When children are not taught how to form letters they form their own habits.
They can stare at a letter as a model but that doesn’t help the motor planning of forming that letter.
This leads to inefficient letter formation which later can lead to illegible handwriting.
I truly believe the FOUNDATION of handwriting is the most important skill a child can receive.
When they are able to work on the underlying foundational fine motor skills while receiving direct handwriting instruction the results speak for themselves.
They don’t have to guess how to form a letter. They won’t have to think about how to form that letter later on. Those building blocks become automatic.
The results here? A transitional kindergartener who could only form uppercase letters as most lowercase letters now printing the entire lowercase letter alphabet independently.
Thats while I help build confident writers!
