📚 Our students never stop learning. Neither do our teachers.

At FLAM San Diego, we believe that great teaching begins with understanding the child behind the student. That’s why professional development is an ongoing part of our school year.

Before classes even began, our teachers participated in a specialized training focused on understanding the different ways students communicate, engage, and learn.

Is your student playful and energetic? Quiet and shy? Curious and analytical? Highly organized? Sensitive and relationship-oriented? More independent and self-directed? Every child is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning.

Our teachers learned how to recognize these different personality and learning patterns, identify what motivates each student, and adapt their teaching strategies so that students can better understand, connect with, and retain what they are learning.

Because teaching French isn’t simply about teaching vocabulary and grammar. It’s about knowing our students well enough to help each one thrive.

And just as we ask our students to keep growing, we hold ourselves to the same standard. 🇫🇷

At FLAM San Diego, learning never stops — for our students or for the teachers who guide them.

💙 FLAM San Diego is looking for a French-speaking Treasurer. 🇫🇷

We are looking for someone who would like to lend their time and expertise to help support our mission of bringing French language and culture to children and families in our community.

Our Treasurer helps oversee our budget and financial health, working alongside our team to ensure that FLAM San Diego continues to grow responsibly and serve our families well. The commitment is just a few hours a month, but the impact is meaningful.

You don’t need to take on a huge role or a huge time commitment. We’re simply looking for someone who is French-speaking, trustworthy, organized, and willing to contribute a little of their time to something they believe in.

If you love the French language and want to help a growing nonprofit make a difference, we would truly love to hear from you.

📩 Interested or know someone who might be a great fit?

Please reach out to our Director, [email protected], or through FLAMSanDiego.com.

Thank you for helping us continue to build a strong future for FLAM San Diego. 🇫🇷💙🤍❤️
