Free summer meals are back beginning June 4! San Diego Unified’s Summer Meals Program will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens (18 & under) through July 31 at more than 80 schools, libraries, parks, recreation centers, military sites, and community locations across the region. No ID or registration is required.

In addition to nutritious meals, select library locations will offer enrichment activities including reading challenges, crafts, music, and family-friendly programming.

Recently, families of currently enrolled students were asked to log in to the Parent Portal and complete the form titled “Student Registration for Next Year” to indicate whether your child will be returning for the 2026–2027 school year.

ALL RETURNING FAMILIES MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM BY 11:59PM ON FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026. Please note that this re-registration needs to be completed though the PowerSchool website and cannot be done in the mobile app.

If you have not yet created a Parent Portal account, we kindly ask that you take a few minutes to register. This will ensure you receive timely updates and have easy access to all required forms moving forward. Late registration beyond May 5th may impact any student’s choice status and enrollment status for PrimeTime.

For additional support, families are welcome to visit the school office for individual assistance. Santiago Escartin, Enrollment Specialist, is available as the primary point of contact and can provide in-person support Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

San Diego Unified will transition to a fully digital platform beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This means that all important items—including enrollment, re-enrollment, immunization records, and annual forms (LCFF)—will be completed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

ATTENTION DOYLE ARTISTS! We are looking for a design for the International Festival Flier! Artwork submitted must be:
*On 8.5" x 11" paper with name and room number in pencil on the back.
*Must focus on Doyle, International Festival, or multiculturalism.
*Mandatory Text: “DOYLE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL” “DOYLE BLACKTOP” “FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2026” and “4-7pm”
*Submit to teacher by 2pm on April 10, 2025.Original hand-drawn art only (no AI or computer-generated content).

All submissions will be judged on creativity and MUST meet above requirements. The top 5 from grades UTK – 2 and top 5 from grades 3 – 5 will be chosen and then there will be a school-wide vote by all the classes. The Doyle International Festival will be on Friday, May 22 from 4-7pm on the Doyle Blacktop.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our families tomorrow! It's going to be a fantastic year.

School starts promptly at 7:40 am. Be sure to arrive early if you plan to walk your student to class.
