As a health coach I strive to find ways to optimize our daily health from many angles of practicing holistic and integrative health.
One method I practice is through vagus nerve stimulation using the device pictured called Neuvana Xen. I use this on myself and offer treatments as well. I have seen how it has not only improved my health but my patients as well in a multitude of different ways.

The Xen uses specially patented earbuds to send a non invasive electrical signal. It then stimulates your vagus nerve gently and naturally through short electrical pulses called waveforms. This then optimizes your vagus nerve, raising happy hormone levels for improved mood, energy levels, and overall well-being.

I just tried out the BioCharger for the first time. It's an amazing device. You simply sit in front of the machine and that's it. The BioCharger uses multiple forms of energy to restore the natural electrical frequency of all the cells in the body. It has many different presets to choose from. I chose the Wellness Sweep and Happy Days in order to support my immune system and balance my energy and mpod levels. It's an incredible device and I recommend anyone to try it.

I'm proud to announce that I have received my certification as an Integrative Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

This marks my 5th overall healthcare certification for my health coaching career and holds the most signficance and pride to me as it was such an amazing course that I completely resonated with. I absolutely love everything about IIN and their principles of how they teach integrative health and medicine.

I began my journey in health coaching over 3 years ago making the transition from working in the music industry for over 20 years to health coaching. Originally I wanted to become a fitness trainer with a specialty in nutrition. That eventually evolved into becoming a health and wellness coach and working at the holistic and integrative medical center , Pacific Pearl La Jolla and I absolutely love my career and take a lot of pride in helping others making positive lifestyle and health transformations. It's an amazing feeling when you can make an impact on someones life in thst way.

Now that I have accomished this certification it's on to my next which is most likely going to be in Functional Medicine. I'm going to keep going as you can never stop learning!

This week I had my own Mom, Rauni King give Johnny a healing touch (energy healing) treatment instead of our usual cold laser therapy and Neuvana Xen treatment.

Healing Touch is an energy-based therapy that utilizes off the body and/or light touch to clear, balance and energize the human energy system in an effort to promote healing for the mind, body and spirit. The practitioner encourages the body’s own self-healing abilities, by balancing the energy field, bringing a deep sense of relaxation by their gentle touch.

Johnny seemed to enjoy his treatment and we'll update you on how he responds to it. Next week we reasses and see hiw he wants to continue his treatments.

How I went from overweight to the best shape of my life.....

I have always struggled with being overweight my mid 20's. That's when everything changed and living an unhealthy lifestyle working in the music industry caught up with me fast. My weight fluctuated more than the stock market or crypto.

It wasn't until I finally started my fitness journey 10 tears ago that I got a grip on things and started truly taking my health seriously.

Now I work as a Health & Wellness Coach and being in shape and looking good was more of a priority than ever! Throughout the last 2 years working as a Health Coach I have learned more than ever and finally reached the optimal weight goal I have been striving for 20 years to obtain.

How did I do it? Well.....that is a long story but if you would like to learn I'd be happy to pay it forward and help you become a better version of yourself.

We all have our own health journey and as a Health Coach I find it important to share your journey not just with your patients / clients but also with the world if you feel that it can motivate, inspire and help others.

This year I went through a break up and when she moved out I turned my depression and stress in to eating. I webt to work and maintained my balance between work and my personal life but as sokn as I would get home I would veg out and take my pain out on eating. I gained 20 lbs in a month and became unhealthy and out of shape.

Through out the last 6 months I have worked very hard getting in shape, working with my own fitness coaches, life coaches and doctors to get my life back together and after making many integral and key lifestyle changes I am now in the best shape of my life.

How did I do it? I asked for assistance and practiced what I preach and this is the end result. If I can do it, you can do it too. As a coach I am always here to help sid you in your own journey as mine did for me.

Today I had the pleasure of showing our visiting AIHM guest Marieta Sodre Brooke, MD a few of the treatment / therapy services that I provide at Pacific Pearl La Jolla.

I have her a quick sample treatment of Rapid Release Therapy to loosen up and relax her body before giving her a quick 15 minute session of Vagus Nerve Stimulation and Sound Therapy using the Neuvana Xen.
