Christina made me the coolest mug and I got to glaze it last week!!! She was demonstrating for her art students and ended up making this cool “pinch mug”!! I love how she threw a bunch of 5s on it and it just immediately became the coolest mug ever made!! 😂😂5️⃣🫶🫶 !!!!!

Diving back into “UnThink” by Erik Wahl almost 10 years after I first bought it!!!

I started reading this book in 2013 while I was already 1 year into unlearning and unthinking personally and professionally in my life.

I am really excited to dive back in and dive deep into Erik’s words and let him guide me to let go of old stuff that doesn’t serve me or anyone else anymore. And I am very grateful because I know I can trust in the loving intentions that Erik and Tasha have in everything that they do and give to the world around them.

I was really blessed back at St. Columba in 6th grade because my parents signed me up for a theatre class after-school that was taught by Tasha and I just loved every minute of class with my friends and Tasha!! I remember being so excited because Tasha told us Erik was going to come to our school performance and when he did I could tell that he was so proud of us AND he was so proud of our teacher and his beautiful and wonderful fiancé, Tasha.

Fast-forward over 15 years to one afternoon when I was going through an old box of my school stuff that my Mama Santa Juanita had saved for me and I found the certificate from that theatre class signed by Tasha Moffitt!!

So many awesome memories came flooding back to me of that special time and I decided to try to find Tasha online and reconnect with her and just thank her for being the coolest and most patient and passionate teacher to us all. I am so thankful that I did find Tasha and I did click send on that message over 10 years ago and she replied back to me! So much radness!! What a cool gift!!

Not long after reconnecting, I bought Erik’s book “UnThink” and decided to continue on that journey of unlearning and unthinking.

I’m not sure what happened to make me out the book down and slow down my journey but it’s all good and I’m stoked to begin again with 10 years of life and wisdom and humbling experiences right here with me as I open my head and my heart to the beauty that Erik is going to share with me.

Last weekend we got to celebrate the one-and-only Grandma Jorgene Gedman. Getting to be one of the people she loved on has been such a blessing and we will love and cherish her forever.

When I would hop up to Ramona, either by myself or with Tristan and Trent, I would call her if I knew we would have some time for a visit. I was always excited if she was free to come into town and go Thrift shopping with us or if we could hop over to her house to play some Skip-Bo or just to say hey real quick.

Sometimes you get to choose people who become your family and I know my family is so glad we all found each other and get to love each other. Thank you Grandma Jorgene for all of your love and wisdom and one-liners that would make me chuckle at your directness and real talk, haha!! Always knew where you stood on everything, I loved that.

I’m glad you and I got to visit right before you moved from San Diego. Glad your Jessica had your back and knew she could reach out to me. Love you all, Vaya con Dios. Thank you for being our Grandma Jorgene. 💚

Dear Blenders, Nhyla told me she wanted to do a photo shoot before we walked down the hill to the game on Sunday and she wanted me to send you the photos!! I told her I would so here you go, I think you may have a San Diego kid who wants to model for y’all in the house!!!!! It was her idea to be so serious and to “chill with her arm on her leg.” I think she nailed it!! I got her to smile a couple times too, just to round the energy out a bit, lol!!

was asked to throw some sample plates, bowls and cups on the wheel for a local restaurant and here are a few of the pieces she created!!! I wanted to post them here to show just how talented my wife Christina is and to give props to all of the ancient civilizations who have created their own pottery with their own hands for millions of years!!! What an awesome skill and gift it is to be a potter!! I can’t wait to jump on the wheel and be taught by you, Baby!!! You rock!!! 💚🏺💜🎨💚 !!!!!
