With an alignment stick, a glove sleeve, and a ball box, you can build a station that keeps your setup consistent every time you practice. It helps you get the ball in the right spot, square the face, and create the space you need to hit more up on the ball. Super easy to set up and even easier to repeat. This will help encourage the feeling of hitting up on the ball, ensure you have a healthy ball position, and make sure your face is square.

1. Ball box down
2. Glove sleeve down
3. Alignment stick down
4. Bombs away!

Your setup and your impact position should look very different.
If you try to return everything back to where it started, you’ll struggle to compress the ball properly. Feeling shaft lean, open hips, and weight forward before you swing can completely change your strike.
It works for Ben Hogan!

Most golfers can get out of the sand but can’t control what happens next.
It’s all about your entry point — how close you hit behind the ball changes the flight, spin, and rollout.

Feed What You Need in Your Swing
A greater turn in the backswing will give you more of a draw and a greater turn in the down and through swing will give you more of a fade. Experiment with this drill to see what you may need more or less of in your swing in order to consistently hit more fairways.

Try The 9-9 Backswing Drill
If you get a little “handsy” in the takeaway, this drill helps you create a good structure to your arms and body. Create the number 9 and then keep it until the club head reaches 9:00 on the clock-face. If you want more width (which you do) this is a great way to lead more with the body in the back swing.

Does your putter feel wobbly or unsteady on the way back? The problem isn’t your stroke — it’s trying to control it too much. By loosening your grip pressure and allowing a quicker backstroke, you’ll actually create a smoother, more natural roll. As Dr. Bob Rotella says: “You gain control when you give up control.” Try this next time you’re on the greens and watch your putting improve.

Be PATIENT in the downswing

We talk so much about creating a good pivot in the back swing, this will set you up perfectly to create a good transition.
As we start with the lower body, feel your arms to drop down towards your right hip rather than forward towards the golf ball. The hands will feel like they are dropping more vertically which will help you get in the “slot” and in turn set you up to move the body better through impact.

Not sure what’s getting your downswing out of sequence? Take our Game Assessment through the link in our bio. We’ll pinpoint what’s really holding your game back and give you a clear path to focus on the right things.

Losing distance with your irons? This drill will give you the feel you’re missing.
Most golfers get stuck because the backswing gets long and slow… and then there’s nothing left for impact. A short backswing with a committed, fast move through the ball trains real speed where it matters.
Give this 5-minute drill a go and you’ll feel a big difference in your strike and distance

Keeping the belt ahead of the buttons is one of the simplest cues to prevent reverse spine angle.
When the chest leads too early, the whole swing tilts out of position and rotation becomes really hard. Leading with the belt keeps your posture intact and helps your body sequence the way better players do. Such an easy visual that makes the swing feel instantly cleaner.

Try this easy drill to achieve better compression with your irons. Grip down on the club and ensure that your body doesn’t make contact with the grip of the club. Shift the body, and most importantly SQUARE THE CLUB FACE!
