Spanish with Liz

3 years.

It's hard to put into words everything that has happened since I uploaded my first video. What started as a small project has grown into a community of over 80,000 families on YouTube, more than 50,000 listeners streaming our music, over 20 million views, and hundreds of learning products shipped to homes and classrooms.

When I look back at these clips, I see a lot more than videos. I see time spent with my family, trips, new ideas, mistakes, lessons learned, and many late nights after the kids went to bed.

To everyone who has watched, shared a video, listened to a song, purchased a product, or simply taken the time to send a kind message, thank you. Your support has allowed me to continue creating and growing something that means so much to me.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of your family's Spanish learning journey.

Here's to year 4.

I don’t currently accept sponsorships since I enjoy keeping my business small and being able to control the creative direction and quality of everything I produce. I want my business to always be aligned with what I believe is the best research-based methods to learn Spanish at home and what is best for kids! Commercial profit has never been the motivation behind Spanish with Liz and is not why it was created. I genuinely created this to help families like mine and I want to protect that mission as much as possible.

That being said! I definitely believe that one of the best things about being a creator is being introduced to new and upcoming brands/creators as well as veteran ones that have been in the business for a long time! Hearing their stories and following their accomplishments is super special, and I just want to say thank you to those who have supported my channel and helped guide me in this process. I also want to applaud anyone in the process of making products to help our bilingual community. Keep creating!

There’s a lot of debate around whether children should learn uppercase or lowercase letters first… but honestly, both matter.

Uppercase letters are often easier to write. Lowercase letters are what children will mostly see when reading.

So instead of treating them like 54 completely separate symbols, I prefer teaching them in pairs. Why? Because kids are incredibly capable of learning patterns, similarities, and multiple forms at the same time,especially when its fun!
