As part of the 100 year celebration of D.H. and Frieda Lawrence arriving in Taos, the DHLRI is hosting a fundraiser to generate funding to support the Ranch and the Fellowship program.

The Poets' Brunch will be held Saturday, September 17, at 11am at the Taos Country Club. There will be food and poetry.

Our poets include Steve Benz, Joshua Co**ha, Max Early, Veronica Golos, Catherine Strisik and Diane Thiel.

It's $40 per person and all proceeds go to support the Ranch and Fellowship program. Reservations are required so please email [email protected] for more information or to sign up.

The Fourth Annual D. H. Lawrence Lecture is happening in Taos, Saturday, September 17 at 5pm at the Taos Community Auditorium.
The World Premier of Lawrence's unfinished play, Altitude. Directed by Professor James Moran, University of Nottingham, performed by Taos Onstage. Brought to you by the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives with generous support from The New Mexico Humanities Council. More information coming soon!

If you're interested in all things or any thing Lawrence related- this might be for you!

DHLSNA is happy to announce the first of a series of bi-monthly Happy Hours, which are intended to appeal alike to academic and non-academic Lawrence enthusiasts. On Tuesday 29th March (1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time), Dr Audra Bellmore will give a presentation on a painting of Frieda Lawrence that was found recently at the DHL Ranch in New Mexico. Dr Bellmore is a curator at UNM.

Zoom information will be shared nearer the time. For now, please mark this event on your calendar and spread the word as far and wide as you can.

Two further happy hours, facilitated by Ben Hagen and David Game respectively, will follow in May and July -- as indicated on the ad below. For which, and for all their good work on making this happen, much gratitude is due to Ben Hagen, Julianne Newmark, Thalia Trigoni, and Kathleen Vella.
