Well it’s official, she’s a kindergartener! So many new things happening, waking up earlier, having to keep a move on the mornings, new school, new faces and a long day! I found this great check off list on Amazon thanks to !

“Continued…” The kids sat at circle as they each had a turn to place an item to build a “structure.” They were so patient! The first picture is their initial creation. I then asked them each to move one item. Taking turns, they created the structure in the second picture from there. It was new and a great gross motor activity!

I’ve been able to get back in the classroom subbing at a local Montessori school. It has been fun to jump back into all the games and lessons we used to have. Today we built a structure using the broad stairs, red rods and pink tower. The kids sat so nicely for their turn to go get a piece and take it to the rug. The pictures are the wrong angle to post the “after”. I will continue in the next post!
