It’s official, the UCs made the decision to temporarily suspend ACT/SAT requirement for students applying for fall 2020 freshman admission.
This does NOT mean that students should stop preparing for standardized tests.

“Despite changes to the format and content of AP exams this term, the university will continue to award credit for exams with scores of 3, 4 or 5”.

Students will take a 45-minute online free-response exam at home instead of the traditional AP exam. Despite all the recent not-so-great news, this is great news for students who would like to get college credit for AP classes. C2 Education of San Clemente is now offering virtual sessions to help students prepare for AP exams.

On late Tuesday, March 31, UC took a number of steps to temporarily adjust admissions requirements and help students and families.
