When truth becomes relative, what are we teaching the next generation to stand on?

We live in a culture that increasingly tells our children, “You have your truth, and I have mine.”

But if everyone gets to define truth for themselves, what becomes the standard for right and wrong? For identity? For purpose? For how we live?

In construction, a plumb line establishes what is straight. Without it, everything can become misaligned.

God's Word is our plumb line.

And education was never meant to be separated from it.

At Revelate Learning, we believe education is more than the transfer of information. It's the formation of a generation grounded in truth, equipped with wisdom, and awakened to their God-given identity and purpose.

We're not simply teaching children WHAT to think. We're equipping them to discern HOW to think through the lens of their Creator.

Because when we remove absolute truth from education, we don't remove formation. We simply allow something else to do the forming.

You can’t win a football game by only playing defense. So why are we trying to transform education that way?

For too long, we’ve been reacting to what’s wrong in education instead of boldly building what could be RIGHT.

Defending our values. Protecting our children. Pushing back against cultural influences.

And while defense matters, defense alone will never transform education.

It’s time to go on OFFENSE.

Not against people. Not out of fear. But with a God-given vision for what education was always meant to be.

What if we spent less time asking, “What do we need to protect our children from?” and more time asking, “Who has God created them to become?”

At Revelate Learning, we’re not simply challenging an educational system. We’re building a new way of learning—one that awakens wonder, cultivates wisdom, reveals identity, and equips the next generation to fulfill their God-given purpose.

We weren’t called to simply raise children who can survive the culture. We were called to raise Kingdom leaders who can transform it.

What began as a step of faith is becoming a vision reaching the nations. 🌍

Four years ago, we launched EQUIP 210 Hopewell Junction with a vision to reimagine education through the lens of the Creator. Little did we know how God would unfold that vision or who He would bring alongside us.

Today, we are witnessing something extraordinary.

What an incredible blessing to welcome international Kingdom leaders who had been praying for the opportunity to experience firsthand what God is doing through EQUIP 210 and Revelate Learning.

After visiting classrooms, participating in assembly, and experiencing the learning environment, their words captured the heart of our mission:

“The people are getting what is the real design of God… they will be able to receive His revelation through this system, and that is a need of every soul.”

This is the heartbeat of EQUIP 210 and Revelate Learning.

EQUIP 210 is a living expression of what happens when education is rooted in Christ, where students are known, loved, and equipped to walk in their God-given identity and purpose.

Revelate Learning carries this vision beyond the classroom, equipping educators, families, and leaders around the world to teach and learn through the lens of the Creator.

Because education was never meant to be simply about acquiring information. It was designed to awaken wonder, cultivate wisdom, reveal identity, and lead students into a deeper relationship with their Creator.

When our guests shared their heartfelt prayer to see Revelate Learning around the world, we were reminded that what God plants faithfully in one community has the potential to impact nations.

One vision. Two expressions. A generation being equipped to know their Creator and fulfill His purposes.

What if one question could change the way we learn—and the way we live?

“God, what are You showing me through this?”

Through the math problem.
Through science.
Through creation.
Through the relationship that feels difficult.
Through the circumstance you didn’t choose.
Even through the season you wish would end.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it…” — Psalm 24:1

If it all belongs to Him, what if there is more to notice than what we see on the surface?

What does this reveal?
What can I learn?
How are You preparing me?
How should I respond?

This is the heart of Revelate Learning.

“Pay attention.”

We say it all the time.

But what if, before redirecting a child’s attention, we became curious about where it went?

What keeps drawing them in?
What questions do they keep asking?
What do they notice that others walk past?
What makes them lose track of time?

Sometimes what looks like distraction may actually be a clue, to curiosity, gifting, wonder, or how God uniquely designed that child to learn.

Jesus Himself said, “Look at the birds…” and “Consider the lilies…” (Matthew 6:26, 28).

He directed attention toward the ordinary, and taught people to see something greater through it.

Maybe great education isn’t only about teaching children to pay attention to us.

Maybe it’s teaching them what is worthy of their attention.

We may outsource parts of our children’s education.

But we were never meant to outsource their discipleship.

Deuteronomy 6:6–7 doesn’t describe discipleship as something reserved for church, Bible class, or Sunday morning.

It happens at home.
Along the road.
In conversation.
In questions.
In the ordinary moments of life.

Whether your child is homeschooled, attends Christian school, or walks into a public-school classroom every morning—you still have an irreplaceable role in how they learn to see God, understand truth, and navigate the world.

You don’t have to be a theologian.
You don’t have to have all the answers.

You just have to be willing to make Him part of the conversation.

This is exactly why Revelate Learning exists.

But Scripture asks us to consider something deeper:

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” — Mark 8:36

A successful life is about more than what they accomplish.

It’s knowing who they are.
Whose they are.
Why they’re here.
And what they’re called to do with the life God gave them.

Pastor Chris, one of our parents participating in Revelate Learning training, shared something that beautifully captures the heart of what we’re building.

In John 17:3, Jesus says:

“And this is eternal life, that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

The word translated “know” — ginoskō — speaks to knowing relationally and experientially.

Not simply knowing about God.

Knowing Him.

And that means eternal life isn’t only something we’re waiting to experience someday in heaven. Jesus invites us into relationship, communion, and life with Him right now.

This is at the heart of Revelate Learning.

What if education wasn’t about adding God onto what our children are learning?

What if they were taught to recognize Him in everything, to see the Creator in His creation, invite the Holy Spirit into their learning, and allow knowledge to lead them into deeper relationship with Him?

Because the goal isn’t simply raising children who know more.

It’s raising children who know Him.

A curriculum is never just a collection of lessons.

It carries a lens.

A lens for truth.
A lens for humanity.
A lens for creation.
A lens for what matters—and ultimately, a lens through which our children begin to see the world.

So before we ask, “Is it rigorous?” or “Does it cover everything?” maybe there’s a more important question:

What is this curriculum teaching my child to see?

“For in Him all things were created… all things have been created through Him and for Him.” — Colossians 1:16

At Revelate Learning, we believe God isn’t something we add to education after the lesson is written.

He is the source of Truth—and the lens through which learning comes alive.

What if some of what we call “Christian education” has been shaped more by Athens and Rome than we realize?

This is the question I can’t stop wrestling with—and it is becoming the focus of my doctoral dissertation.

The early Church was born into a world saturated with Greco-Roman philosophy, categories of thought, systems of education, and ideas about what it meant to know.

Then came a dramatic shift.

In AD 313, the Edict of Milan brought an end to state-sponsored persecution and granted Christianity legal toleration within the Roman Empire. Over the decades that followed, Christianity moved from the margins of Roman society toward its center.

But here is the question I believe we need to ask:

As Christianity increasingly entered the structures of the Roman world, how much did the structures of the Roman world enter Christianity?

And what did that mean for education?

Scripture emerged from a deeply Hebraic story of creation, covenant, relationship, revelation, obedience, wisdom, and formation.

Yet much of modern education has become centered on information, abstraction, intellectual mastery, measurement, and the transfer of knowledge.

What if we have inherited an educational framework without stopping to ask where it came from?

This is not about rejecting everything Greek or Roman. It is about examining our inheritance.

“Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?” — 1 Corinthians 1:20

I believe it is time to go deeper than changing curriculum.

We need to examine the very framework through which we understand teaching, learning, knowledge, and formation.

Because education is never just about what a child knows.

It is about who they are becoming.

That is the conversation behind Revelate Learning—and the question I’ll be exploring much more deeply in my doctoral research.
