🍉 Summer Registration | June 22 – August 10, 2026 🍉

New to San Carlos School District for the 2026–27 school year? Welcome!

Although school offices close for the summer beginning Thursday, June 18, new student registration will remain available online through PowerSchool Enrollment.

Register Early: Due to high demand and limited capacity, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade are nearing enrollment limits. Student placement is determined on a first-come, first-served basis once all required registration documents have been submitted and verified.

We encourage families to complete the registration process as soon as possible to maximize placement opportunities.

☀️ School’s out and summer is here! We hope all of our San Carlos School District students, families, and staff enjoy a fun, restful, and adventure-filled break.

Please note that school offices will be closed for the summer from June 19 through August 10. While offices are closed, new student registration will continue to be available online through PowerSchool Enrollment.

Last night, we were proud to see both Central Middle School and Tierra Linda Middle School recognized by the City Council for their outstanding achievements!

National School Counseling Week (February 2–6) is a special time to recognize and celebrate the incredible impact our school counselors have on students, families, and school communities every single day. This week highlights the essential role counselors play in supporting students’ academic success, social-emotional well-being, and future planning.

Our counselors do so much more than many people realize—listening, guiding, advocating, and helping students navigate challenges while discovering their strengths and possibilities. We are deeply grateful for their compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to helping every student thrive. Calling all future San Carlos students! New Student Priority Registration is OPEN NOW!

Families with incoming TK and Kindergarten students, as well as any students new to SCSD for the coming fall, are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Completing registration before the January 30 deadline helps secure your child’s spot and allows us to thoughtfully plan staffing, classrooms, and resources for the 2026–27 school year.
