This week, children began their mornings with choices they could make for themselves. They moved materials during transfer work, matched apples to number boards, practiced buttons and zippers, and arranged flowers.

Others enjoyed the playground or shared weekend stories in the smaller group. These calm first moments helped children reconnect before circle time and the rest of the school day.
