CSUSB has been informed by SoCal Edison that the red flag warning has been lifted and power will be restored to the SB campus overnight. To ensure all systems are operational, the SB campus closure will remain in effect until the campus officially reopens at 10:00 a.m. for normal business operations and classes that begin at 10 a.m.

The CSUSB SB campus, which is without power, will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 31. SoCal Edison extended its ordered power safety shutoff which took effect at 3:20 a.m. today, Oct. 30, to at least through Thursday. The shutoff does not affect the Palm Desert Campus which will be open.
CSUSB will release paychecks to university employees who do not have direct deposit on Thursday, from 1-3 p.m., at the Facilities Management building lobby. The office is located near parking lot A on the northwestern part of campus. A complete message will be emailed out from Human Resources. CSUSB’s San Bernardino campus will be closed for classes and business operations tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 30 as the Inland Region has received a high wind warning with gusts up to 80 mph from the National Weather Service. CSUSB will send an update on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. regarding the campus status for Thursday, Oct. 31. PDC Campus will remain open. Visit https://inside.csusb.edu/alert.

CSUSB San Bernardino campus is now closed today, Monday, Oct. 28 due to a power disruption to the area possibly caused by high, gusty winds. A reminder that students should leave campus first. Faculty and staff should wait until students leave. Updates will be sent later today regarding campus status for Tuesday.
