The CSU settled a harassment and retaliation lawsuit against CSUSB administrators for $12 million โ the largest known employment discrimination settlement in CSU history.
Two women lost their careers for speaking up. Provost Rafik Mohamed dismissed faculty complaints as "low-grade bias." And now CSUSB President Morales may walk away with executive transition pay.
CFA-San Bernardino says: not on our watch.
"Rewarding an administrator who has fostered an inequitable and toxic campus climate would represent a stunning failure of accountability and a direct betrayal of students, faculty, and staff."
-Dr. Tiffany Jones, CFA-San Bernardino Chapter President

Come out and show your support for them at Solidarity Hour!
WHEN: Wed-Fri, 11 am - 1 pm.
WHERE: the flag pole at CSUSB's main entrance
Your support truly matters โ whether it's 20 minutes or 2 hours.

Come out, connect with your CSUSB classmates and colleagues, and let's demand decent wages and a fair contract for the folks who make our university run.
Because an injury to one is an injury to all!

The CSUSB faculty and staff unions were out Tuesday in solidarity with the CSU's Teamsters Skilled Trades workers to demand that Million-dollar Millie honor their raises.
It rained. It poured. And we shouted some more!
Let's show up for our colleagues as they continue their fight for raises and respect.

In a surprising development, CSUSB president Tomas Morales has stayed home today to avoid crossing the Teamsters Skilled Trades workers picket line.
We'll take the wins wherever we can get them. But the workers that keep our campus safe need the raises they negotiated for. Get them their raises now!
, .csusb, and members were out bright and early Tuesday to support our brothers and sisters on the picket line. It's time for the CSU give the people who keep our campuses safe the raises they deserve.
Come out and join the picket between classes, on your lunch break, or -- even better -- take a personal day and respect the picket line.
An injury to one is an injury to all!

Join us Tuesday, Feb 17, at noon (Pacific) for a conversation with Dr. Adam Becker, author of More Everything Forever: AI Overlords, Space Empires, and Silicon Valley's Crusade to Control the Fate of Humanity (Hachette, 2025).
From Rolling Stone:
"Becker subjects Silicon Valleyโs ideology to some much-needed critical scrutiny, poking holes in โ and a decent amount of fun at โ the outlandish ideas that so many tech billionaires take as gospel. In so doing, he champions reality while also exposing the dangers of letting the tech billionaires push us toward a future that could never actually exist.โ
This free and public talk is supported by the CSUSB Chapter of the California Faculty Association and its Ad Hoc Committee on โAIโ in Education.

Which side are YOU on?
CSU faculty, staff, and student interests are aligned with the maintenance workers who keep our campuses safe -- not the CSU's fat cat executives who give themselves handsome raises while hiking tuition, cancelling course sections, increasing class sizes, and denying employees the raises they negotiated for.
So, CSU students, ask your instructors what adjustments they're making to ensure YOU can respect the picket line during the Teamsters strike Feb 17-20. Because an injury to one is an injury to all!
