Hello 6th grade parents/guardians,
The end of the year is approaching fast and your 6th graders will soon be 7th graders. 7th grade and middle school bring two new requirements that we want to communicate and give you opportunities to complete them now, so the beginning of the year is that much smoother.
The first is that all middle schools in SBCUSD require ANY student trying out for ANY sport throughout the year to have a sports physical. Students will not be allowed to try-out without the completed physical. See the flyers for two upcoming NO COST sports physicals at nearby schools. These physicals are good for an entire year, so they will cover ALL of the sports offered at the middle school level for the 2024-2025 school year.
The second is immunizations. 7th grade brings new mandatory immunizations. Please see the flyer for many dates at multiple schools including Serrano on Friday, May 10th from 3:00pm to 6:30pm for NO COST immunization clinics. Please scan the flyer for the link or click here bit.ly/49up09o.
