Trip Recap: Zion Camp and Explore
May 2 - 4, 2026

Sam and Azael led a CSUSB Adventure trip with 10 students to Zion National Park, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. We arrived at Watchman Campground, got camp set up, and kicked things off with a scenic hike along the Watchman Trail. Afterward, we cooked pasta for dinner and settled in for the night. Early Saturday morning, we had a quick breakfast and headed out to hike Angel’s Landing, where we were rewarded with incredible views at the top. Later that same day, we explored The Narrows, enjoying a refreshing walk through the water. Once back at camp we relaxed after a full day of adventures. On our final day, we packed up camp and stopped by the nearby town to grab souvenirs. On the way back to campus, we made a stop at Valley of Fire, where we took some great photos before finishing the trip. Overall, it was a super fun experience with an amazing group.

Trip Recap: Yosemite Camp and Explore
April 17-19, 2026

🌲✨ Day one was all about arriving and soaking in the beauty of the valley, stopping at iconic viewpoints and hiking to Bridalveil Fall surrounded by waterfalls and unreal scenery. It was the perfect introduction to how breathtaking Yosemite really is.

Day two was the highlight, taking on the Mist Trail, hiking 6.6 miles with 2,000 ft of elevation gain. It was definitely challenging, but every step was worth it with incredible views, powerful waterfalls, and the mist hitting us along the way. We spent the rest of the day exploring more of Yosemite and just taking it all in.

Day three we hiked 6.7 miles through Mariposa Grove, walking among the giant sequoias and appreciating the peaceful, quiet beauty before heading home. Such an unforgettable experience 🤍🏔️
