🎉🖤💚💛Celebrating Our Black Honor Roll Scholars! 🖤💚💛

Today, we had the honor of celebrating our amazing scholars who earned 3s and 4s on the CAASPP assessment or achieved 61% or higher proficiency in both Math and ELA on the NWEA! 📚➕✏️

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, perseverance, and academic achievement! 🌟

We know that it takes a village, and today was also about celebrating the families who encourage, support, and believe in our scholars every step of the way. ❤️ It was so special to honor our scholars alongside their families and recognize this wonderful accomplishment together!

👏🏽 Congratulations to all of our Black Honor Roll scholars! Keep working hard, keep growing, and keep soaring high!✨

🍎 Healthy Scholars, Healthy Learning! ❤️💚

At Emmerton Elementary, we're committed to creating a healthy learning environment that helps every scholar feel their best.

Beginning this school year:
🥕 We encourage healthy snacks such as fruit, vegetables, and other nutritious choices.
🌶️ Please help us limit hot chips at school.
🍬 Candy, gum, and soda are best enjoyed at home.
🥪 Scholars are asked to enjoy their own snacks and not share food with others to help prevent allergic reactions and keep everyone healthy and safe.

Thank you for partnering with us to support the health, wellness, and success of all Emmerton scholars. Together, we're building healthy habits that last a lifetime! 🦅💙

📱 New Personal Device Expectations at Emmerton Elementary 💙❤️

To help keep our scholars focused on learning, engaged in the classroom, and safe online, we are updating our personal device expectations for the 2026–2027 school year.

✔️ Cell phones must be powered off and stored in scholars' backpacks during the school day.

⌚ Smartwatches and Meta Glasses may be worn but are to be used for telling time only and not for communication during the school day. If they become a distraction, scholars will be asked to power them off.

Thank you for partnering with us as we create a focused, safe, and engaging learning environment where every scholar can thrive! 💙🦅

What a fantastic day at Emmerton Elementary! 🦅🥎

Our annual 5th Grade vs. Staff Softball Game was filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories.

It was wonderful to see our scholars and staff come together to celebrate the end of an amazing elementary school journey for our 5th graders.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible PTO for providing cotton candy for every student and staff member! 🍭 Your generosity helped make this event extra special and brought lots of smiles to our campus.

We are so proud of our 5th graders and grateful to all the staff, families, and volunteers who helped make this tradition such a success. These are the moments our scholars will remember for years to come!
