At Emmerton Elementary, we're committed to creating a healthy learning environment that helps every scholar feel their best.

Beginning this school year:
🥕 We encourage healthy snacks such as fruit, vegetables, and other nutritious choices.
🌶️ Please help us limit hot chips at school.
🍬 Candy, gum, and soda are best enjoyed at home.
🥪 Scholars are asked to enjoy their own snacks and not share food with others to help prevent allergic reactions and keep everyone healthy and safe.

📱 New Personal Device Expectations at Emmerton Elementary 💙❤️

To help keep our scholars focused on learning, engaged in the classroom, and safe online, we are updating our personal device expectations for the 2026–2027 school year.

✔️ Cell phones must be powered off and stored in scholars' backpacks during the school day.

⌚ Smartwatches and Meta Glasses may be worn but are to be used for telling time only and not for communication during the school day. If they become a distraction, scholars will be asked to power them off.

What a fantastic day at Emmerton Elementary! 🦅🥎

Our annual 5th Grade vs. Staff Softball Game was filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories.

It was wonderful to see our scholars and staff come together to celebrate the end of an amazing elementary school journey for our 5th graders.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible PTO for providing cotton candy for every student and staff member! 🍭 Your generosity helped make this event extra special and brought lots of smiles to our campus.

We are so proud of our 5th graders and grateful to all the staff, families, and volunteers who helped make this tradition such a success. These are the moments our scholars will remember for years to come!

Today we celebrated those Scholars who had Perfect Attendance during testing with a scavenger hunt. In addition, we had a KONA shaved ice fomo event. Fun was had by all who participated .

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to an incredible leader, Mrs. David!

In her very first year as principal at Emmerton, she has already made a lasting impact. Mrs. David leads with heart, purpose, and a clear commitment to making our school the very best it can be for our scholars, staff, and families.

Her dedication, care, and vision do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for the positive energy and leadership she brings to Emmerton each and every day.

Today we celebrated an incredible milestone! 🎉

We are so proud of our English Learners who have officially been reclassified as Fluent. This achievement represents years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication and not just from our students, but also from their families and teachers who supported them every step of the way.

Becoming fluent in another language is no small feat, and this accomplishment opens doors to even greater opportunities ahead. We can’t wait to see all that you continue to achieve!
