What a fantastic day at Emmerton Elementary! 🦅🥎

Our annual 5th Grade vs. Staff Softball Game was filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories.

It was wonderful to see our scholars and staff come together to celebrate the end of an amazing elementary school journey for our 5th graders.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible PTO for providing cotton candy for every student and staff member! 🍭 Your generosity helped make this event extra special and brought lots of smiles to our campus.

We are so proud of our 5th graders and grateful to all the staff, families, and volunteers who helped make this tradition such a success. These are the moments our scholars will remember for years to come!

Today we celebrated those Scholars who had Perfect Attendance during testing with a scavenger hunt. In addition, we had a KONA shaved ice fomo event. Fun was had by all who participated .

In her very first year as principal at Emmerton, she has already made a lasting impact. Mrs. David leads with heart, purpose, and a clear commitment to making our school the very best it can be for our scholars, staff, and families.

Her dedication, care, and vision do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for the positive energy and leadership she brings to Emmerton each and every day.

We are so proud of our English Learners who have officially been reclassified as Fluent. This achievement represents years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication and not just from our students, but also from their families and teachers who supported them every step of the way.

Becoming fluent in another language is no small feat, and this accomplishment opens doors to even greater opportunities ahead. We can’t wait to see all that you continue to achieve!

💙 Happy Counselor Week to an absolutely AMAZING counselor Mr. Victor Buyco! 💙

We are beyond grateful for Mr. Buyco and the incredible heart he brings to our school every single day. He goes above and beyond not only for our students, but for their families as well offering support, guidance, and encouragement when it’s needed most. His impact reaches far beyond the counseling office, and our community is stronger because of him.

As if that weren’t enough, Mr. Buyco also gives his time and energy to coach our basketball team, building confidence, teamwork, and character in our students on and off the court. Whether he’s cheering on the Dodgers, the Lakers, or the Raiders, one thing is clear, his loyalty, passion, and dedication show up in everything he does. We especially love his photoshopping skills!

Mr. Buyco, thank you for your compassion, your commitment, and your unwavering belief in our scholars. We are so lucky to have you, and we appreciate you more than words can say. 💙
