Al Roker, co-host and weather anchor of NBC’s The Today Show, and the co-host of The Weather Channel’s Wake Up with Al, will be speaking at CSUSB San Bernardino today, October 6th, from 4 - 6pm at the San Manuel Student Union, SU 107. Come and join us - Al will be will be discussing topics from his new book, The Storm of the Century, including leadership, the resolve of the local community to recover from immense devastation, and the overwhelming national response to the crisis by groups across the country who are raising funds and supplies.

Congratulations to Sandy Castellanos! Sandy is the first recipient of the annual CSUSB-NSLS Graduate Regalia Scholarship. The executive board established a scholarship in 2015 to award one member with an NSLS graduation regalia set, including a stole, honor chords, and tassel charm. Sandy was chosen from a selected group of inducted members who earned the National Engaged Leadership Award and were also graduating in June 2015. After the short essay submissions were read, Sandy emerged as the leader. Sandy received the Regalia Scholarship at the Student Leadership and Development End of Year banquet on June 3, 2015.
