On friday we had our first spirit day ! Our students and staff had an amazing time dressing as their favorite Moana characters and playing a fun game of “Would You Rather?” during lunch. It was a wonderful day filled with adventure, laughter, and Monterey Eagle spirit! 🦅✨

On behalf of the students, families, and residents of the Monterey Elementary community, we extend our sincere gratitude to Supervisor Joe Baca for supporting the Little Third Street Road Reconstruction and Drainage Improvement Project.

We also offer heartfelt thanks to community advocate Ms. Astreia Johnson, Congressman Pete Aguilar, and Mayor Helen Tran for their leadership, advocacy, and commitment to our community.

These important improvements will help reduce flooding, standing water, traffic hazards, property damage, and transportation disruptions. Upgraded roads, sidewalks, and drainage will make walking, biking, driving, and school-bus transportation safer and more reliable especially during severe weather.

Thank you for listening to our community and investing in the safety, well-being, and future of our students, families, and neighborhood!
