Reminder:
Officer elections will be on November 15, 2016 at 4 PM.

As an Accounting Association member, you will be eligible to run for only Accounting Association officer positions. The following positions will be available for election:

Accounting Association:
President
VP of Operations
VP of Membership
Treasurer
VP of Publicity

For competitive positions, you will be required to prepare a speech. Officers of both associations will act jointly and collaborate on events, recruitment, and other general operations. Officers will be required to attend officer meetings directly after select regular meetings.

Please note that if there are open positions available after the elections date, you are encouraged to volunteer for them by speaking to current officers after our meetings.

Meet the Firms 2016 - Formstack California State University, San Bernardino will be hosting our 34th annual Meet the Firms event on October 5th, 2016 in the Santos Manuel Student Union Event Center. Professional admission for setup begins at 5:00 pm. Student admission begins at 6:00 pm.

Hello BAP & AA Members,

Tomorrow, May 3rd, we will be having a meeting with audit supervisors, Chris Chitlik and Rachel Green. They will discussing public accounting and their firm Vavrinek Trine Day & Co., LLP.

Location: Co- 103 Lower Commons Pine Room
Time: 4pm-5pm

In addition, Chad Burkitt from the County of Riverside will be coming this Thursday, May 5th, from 4pm-5pm. He has requested a resume book for hiring. To take advantage of this opportunity, please submit your resume to either [email protected] and/or [email protected] by Wednesday, May 4th, no later than 5pm.

A new volunteer opportunity is available! Rogers Anderson Malody and Scott LLP, local firm, has requested volunteers for Hangar 24 Air Fest event on Saturday, May 14th. They need volunteers to help them table (collect cash and pass out tickets) for the event. All proceeds will go to charity. All Beta Alpha Psi members are required to do 3 community service hours. This a great way to fulfill those requirements and network. Sign up are available for these shifts:

Shift 1: 11:30am-3:30pm
Shift 2: 3:30 pm-6:30pm
Shift 3: 6:30pm-9:30 pm
Shift 4: 9:30 pm-12am

Also, sashes for both associations will be available for purchase tomorrow. Prices are $40 to buy and $25 to rent.
