Pacific Athletics will be offering sports physicals on Tuesday, June 16 in Room K-4 after summer school at 3:45pm. Physicals are FREE and open to CURRENT PACIFIC STUDENTS only, including incoming 9th graders.
Students should bring their completed physical forms signed by a parent or guardian and come dressed in comfortable athletic clothing. For those unable to attend, physicals may also be scheduled with a personal healthcare provider or conducted without appointment at most urgent care clinics.
All students planning to participate in sports this year must have a physical completed within the last 12 months on file in order to participate in workouts, tryouts, or practices of any kind. Rachel Martinez has been named Pacific’s female Ken Hubbs Award nominees for 2025-2026.
This is the 62nd year of the Ken Hubbs Award, honoring athletes who have excelled not only athletically but also developed the characteristics of good sportsmanship and good works. Named for Ken Hubbs, a former standout athlete for Colton High School and 1962 National League Rookie of the Year for the Chicago Cubs, the Ken Hubbs Award is generally regarded as the top athletic honor for high school students in the area.
Rachel participated in Sideline Cheer, Girls Water Polo, and Swimming for the Pirates this year, earning All-League Honorable Mention in Water Polo and winning two individual League Championships in Swimming for the second straight year.
