"It's striking that, in an age of apparent hyperconnection, people are seemingly lonelier than ever. Everyone feels lonely at some time or other, and you can experience loneliness even in the presence of others. But making sense of why you're lonely—and sorting out what you should do about it—can be tricky."
That's why Dr. Kaitlyn Creasy, Associate Professor of Philosophy, is coordinating this weekend's "Love and Loneliness" Workshop – a conference that’s focused on the complex relationship between loneliness and various forms of loving relationships.
Taking place this Friday and Saturday at CSUSB, the conference will bring together philosophers from all over the world to discuss loneliness and keys to alleviating loneliness.
