As we wrap up 2024, we dedicate this past month to celebrating and giving back to the people who make our work meaningful—our students, staff and community members.
Whether it was distributing toys to children ahead of the holidays, honoring a deserving veteran, or coming together as a community, this month was a heartfelt way to pay tribute to our education community’s contributions, and end the year on a high note. We’re now ready to carry this positive momentum and spirit into 2025, excited for all the new ways we can continue transforming lives through education.

Isaiah is an amazing individual. We had the privilege of honoring him during our San Bernardino Countywide Classified School Employees of the Year Recognition event in June. Isaiah has built countless relationships with the Mesa View Middle School community in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, earning the respect and trust of students, families and staff. We are so proud to have him as a part of our community!
2024 Classified School Employee of the Year highlight: Isaiah Joiner stands out as one of Mesa View Middle School’s best campus security staff members. He demonstrates an exemplary understanding of what it means to make students feel safe and welcome during this time of uncertainty for students in middle school.
With over a decade of dedicated service to the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, Joiner consistently goes above and beyond as campus security. Whether coordinating athletic events, supporting schoolwide restorative practices, or participating in various school activities, he consistently seeks ways to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
