How to tighten rings on Ball jars.
NEW INFO (TO US)
Until recently Ball recommended fingertip tight plus more.
Tighten until resistance is met, then 1/4 turn more.
Now their website says tighten only until resistance is met.
We do not know when this information changed, but here it is now.

Master Food Preservers promote and educate the public about food preservation at the Jardín de la Salud (Garden of Health) on a regular basis.
The Jardín de la Salud is a community garden that provides families access to fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. The garden is located in San Bernardino, a food desert where access to affordable, nutritious food is limited due to poverty, lack of grocery stores, and lack of transportation.
