Our parents had a wonderful time at the CABE Regional Conference in Riverside. Huge thank you to Mrs. Applegate and SBCUSD-Multilingual Programs Department for giving parents the opportunity to learn about bilingual education. Parents were able to join workshops and listen to Educators and network with Paraeducators whose main focus are bilingualism, multiculturalism, and equity for all students.

Happy Jewish American Heritage Month! As we celebrate the contributions and achievements of Jewish Americans, let us also take a moment to appreciate the rich culture, history, and traditions of the Jewish people. From innovative thinkers and creators to dedicated activists and community leaders, Jewish Americans have made immense contributions to our society. Let us continue to celebrate our diversity and honor the legacy of Jewish Americans this May and beyond.

SBCUSD celebrates May as Asian American & Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month! This month we recognize all of the accomplishments and contributions they have made and encourage everyone to recognize these accomplishments as well!

El SBCUSD celebra mayo como el Mes de la Herencia de los Asiáticos Americanos y Nativos de las Islas del Pacífico y de Hawái. ¡Este mes reconocemos todas las contribuciones y logros que ellos han hecho y animamos a todos a reconocer estos logros también!

Mrs. Applegate will be recognized by the "California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (CALSA) as a recipient of the 2023 "Honoring Our Own" Awards.
