The primary purpose of the RLCE is to assist with the development of new businesses within the Inland Empire. Acting as a bridge between campus and community, this department seeks to encourage entrepreneurial students to achieve their goals while providing valuable resources to local business. Creating the ideal environment for students to engage in experiential learning that goes beyond the classroom as they learn from seasoned entrepreneurs.

With support from the SBDC Market Small Business Program and our consultant Rachel Jimenez, Blooming Sands Handmade Ceramics gained the clarity and strategy needed to strengthen their business and increase sales . Through data-driven guidance and hands-on mentorship, this entrepreneur transformed uncertainty into confident action by expanding into new markets and refining their approach both in-person and online.
