Love being out in our Demo classrooms! We are out and about, rain or shine - or 104 degrees! 😆🤷‍♀️ The work is getting done and we are excited to see what’s happening in Week 4.

Out and about in Demo classrooms last Thursday! Our Demo Teachers are jumping into the school year with both feet (and arms and legs and hands etc 😆). Super fun to see what’s going on in these classrooms where both students AND teachers are learning.

Our first day out and about in 2026-2027 SBCUSD Demo classrooms! Today we were at San Bernardino HS and Indian Springs HS. So much good teaching and learning happening. We love to see it. 🎉👏🥰

CA Department of Education National Board Certification Subsidy Grant Application Opens Today! 💫

If you are planning on applying for the CDE National Board Certification Subsidy grant (which gives $2,500 for the process if you work in a high-priority school), the application opens today. This is a non-competitive grant, but it is first come, first served, so get your application in ASAP.

Remember that you have to have your NBPTS certificate ID number ready to enter into the application as well. Print the final copy of your application, so you have the information handy when you need it.

According to the CDE, you must apply for this grant every year; so if you applied last year, apply again and choose "returning applicant." If this will be the first time you're applying, you're a new applicant.
