π JONES IS ON THE MAP! π
Today, our Jones educators participated in our first Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) learning session for the 26/27 school year , where we reflected on three years of CAASPP data and celebrated the incredible growth of our scholars!
Our teams dug into ELA and Math performance by grade level and student groups, recognizing the hard work, commitment, and progress our scholars demonstrated during the 2025β26 school year.
And yes, we celebrated! Our educators received Growth Champion Awards because their dedication is making a difference.
Jones is on the MAP! We are growing. We are changing lives. We are impacting our community. And this is only the beginning!
π Rooted in Grit. Growing with Purpose.

Our third-grade scholars are already hard at work! Ms. Almanza is intentionally connecting small-group instruction with writing, providing students with focused support while building their confidence as writers.
The moment you enter her classroom, you feel a warm, welcoming, and organized learning environment where expectations are clear and student thinking is visible throughout the room. Most importantly, our scholars were 100% engaged. writing, thinking, and learning!
Way to set the tone for a year of meaningful learning, Ms. Almanza!

π We Are Thriving At Jones π
This week, every one of our scholars learned what it means to be a Jones Scholar while our teachers focused on building strong, positive relationships. ππ»
Our teachers intentionally planned activities that gave scholars opportunities to learn about each other, build connections, collaborate, and develop a strong sense of belonging. These experiences are helping us establish a positive school culture and an environment where our scholars can thrive!
At Jones, we are a family. We learn together, grow together, and support one another and we are committed to creating an environment where EVERY scholar will be successful this year at Jones! πβ¨

Learning Through Play in TK!
Our TK scholars with Mrs. Luce and Ms. Walker are learning that play has a purpose! Through structured centers, our youngest Grizzlies are learning how to share, collaborate, communicate, use materials appropriately, and follow center routines.
Before diving into academics, we are intentionally building the structure, independence, and social skills our scholars need to be successful learners.
Play today, learn every day!
