💙✨ National School Counselor Appreciation Week (2/2–2/6) ✨💙

This week, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to Mr. Sanchez, our incredible school counselor! 👏

Mr. Sanchez goes above and beyond every single day to support our scholars, families, and staff. From providing guidance and encouragement to helping our students navigate challenges and celebrate successes, his impact is felt across our entire school community.

Thank you, Mr. Sanchez, for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to ensuring our scholars feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. We are truly grateful for all that you do! 💫

🌟 Help Us Build Positive Behavior! 🌟

Have you ever asked your child about their Cub-A-Roos? At Kendall-Harmon Elementary, we’re excited to have our Student Store Incentives program to support positive behavior and celebrate our students’ achievements! We need our community's help to stock fun and engaging items in our store that your scholars would love to earn! Your contribution will provide meaningful rewards that motivate and inspire our students as part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program.

Invest in the future of our students today by supporting our project on DonorsChoose and sharing the link to our fundraiser! Every little bit helps us create a supportive and encouraging environment for our learners. 📘✨

Important Update: Shelter in Place Due to High Wind Warning

Dear Kendall-Harmon School Community,

Due to a High Wind Warning and Air Quality alert caused by dust and particles in the air, we are implementing a shelter-in-place procedure today. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 60 mph, prompting us to follow our inclement weather protocol.

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all outdoor activities will be moved indoors, and we will minimize movement outside the building.

Additionally, we have been notified of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) warning. In the event that we lose power or phone service, families can reach out to the office via email at [email protected]. Our IT department is actively working to keep our front office phones and laptops connected to services.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
