Happy to support the work of our Title VI Education Program in the celebration of California Native American Day. Today's luncheon was the kickoff for the week of events held at CSUSB. Speakers today included California State Assembly Member James Ramos, CSUSB President Tomas Morales, and SBCUSD Superintendent Mauricio Arellano to name a few. The educational partnerships within and among our community were highlighted. The support by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in helping to sponsor events like this is appreciated.
Thank you to Shiekh Industries and Shiekh Impact for reaching out to partner with SBCUSD. Great initial meeting today with Expanded Learning and Secondary Education/College & Career. Their vision for giving back to the community is exciting. More to come...
Serving the community on this Saturday morning! So great to see student volunteers learning the value of service and also the impact of social services in our area. Thank you to Michael Tsai and Andrew Lin for their continued leadership for the PureLand Food Distribution.
Recently, our Secondary Education team met together to discuss strategies and practices that best support the schools in our district. Our team is excited about this school year and is looking forward to the work ahead!
