Last week, San Andreas HS welcomed over 26 administrators and policymakers to their campus—many returning for a second consecutive year. The decision for the Stanford Alternative Education Collaborative to come back and bring others speaks volumes about the incredible work that San Andreas is doing. San Andreas staff are trailblazers in alternative education, setting the standard through dedication, innovation, and a deep care for their students. The classroom visits were truly inspiring and visitor reactions were a testament to the SAHS impact. The visit sparked many conversations and admiration for the work they do every day.

🚗💡 Building Brighter Futures Through Partnerships!
Last Friday, the San Bernardino Chamber of Commerce took the opportunity to tour the Transportation and Advanced Technology Center at Pacific High School ( ) in San Bernardino. This incredible facility is a shining example of how collaboration between schools and local businesses can drive innovation and opportunity for our community.
The San Bernardino City Unified School District is leading the way by equipping students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge industries like transportation technology and advanced manufacturing. By partnering with area businesses, we continue to ensure that our pathways are relevant and help prepare students to graduate with real-world skills that meet the demands of our local economy.
🙌 Why does this matter?
When schools and businesses work together, everyone wins. Students gain access to meaningful career opportunities, businesses get a skilled workforce, and our community grows stronger.

🎶 SBCUSD Bands Celebrate and Support the San Bernardino MLK Parade! 🎶
This year, the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) bands brought their energy, talent, and school pride to the annual San Bernardino Martin Luther King Jr. Parade! Students from across the district came together to honor Dr. King’s legacy with powerful music, precision marching, and vibrant performances that captivated the crowd.
From drumlines that shook the streets to brass sections that filled the air with uplifting melodies, these talented young musicians reminded us of the unifying power of music and the importance of community. Their dedication and teamwork reflect the values of justice, equality, and hope that Dr. King stood for.
A special thank you to the band directors, staff, parents, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to prepare for this event. Your hard work made this celebration one to remember!
