Our CDC coaches are incredible resources and sources of guidance for everyone they interact with. CDC Coach Erinae is a current CSUSB Cyber student who works in the CDC Corps to connect with and instruct younger students about cyber defense skills and techniques.

Our CDC Coaches not only bring their own vast reservoirs of talent to the table but also serve as catalysts, unlocking the potential within each student and creating a synergy that promotes an environment of continuous growth and inspiration.

Tomorrow’s Talent Founder and Chief Visionary, Dr. Dale Marsden joined Professor Doueiri’s Liberal Studies lecture to chat and provide insight into the world that is teaching, leadership, and everything in between.

His insights profoundly reflected the importance of education in shaping confident, compassionate, and well-prepared individuals to contribute significantly to society. As students learned about his time as a teacher and Superintendent, they inquired about the highs and lows of the education system and how they could develop the leadership skills necessary to strengthen their classrooms and educational environments.

Tomorrow's Talent was founded on an authentic understanding and appreciation of the education sector. Our goals consistently include enhancing the connection between education and the wider industry without detracting from the essence of teaching. Tomorrow’s Talent continues to work alongside educators, taking the time to learn what they need and how we can best assist them in their mission.

Dr. Marsden's lecture not only celebrated the pivotal role of educators but also subtly echoed the values that Tomorrow's Talent holds dear—acknowledging the tireless efforts of those shaping the minds of tomorrow.

Aiming to bring students up close and personal with career roles they don’t get to see every day, this initiative grants invaluable short-term professional experiences, equips students with industry insights, and hones essential skills for future career success. It's all about turning knowledge into action and preparing the leaders of tomorrow, today.

CyberLink 2024 brought us together in a meaningful gathering, showcasing Southern California's cybersecurity sector's collaborative spirit and innovative drive. Together with Moreno Valley College, CSUSB Center for Cyber and AI, and Riverside Community College District Foundation, we welcomed a diverse group of employers to delve deep into the future of regional talent and discuss solutions to the cybersecurity industry's growing challenge of securing skilled talent.

A special shoutout to all the employers and organizations who took the time to learn about MVC and CSUSB's commendable efforts in educating, training, and preparing their students for real-world challenges.

Hosted against the historic March Field Air Museum backdrop, the event offered attendees a unique opportunity to network with current cyber apprentices and students over a delightful brunch and learn session. The discussions around how apprenticeships can elevate businesses and organizations to new heights were enlightening and inspiring.

Our Cyber Defense Corps (CDC) Apprenticeship Program is making waves as Amy and Naziya, two stellar students from Moreno Valley College, team up with IT leadership at Colton Joint Unified School District.

For months, these apprentices have been on a mission to transform cybersecurity protocols from “what?” to “wow!” one click at a time. Under the guidance of CJUSD's tech leaders, they've combined what they've learned in classrooms into electric, hands-on experiences. From real-time cybersecurity upgrades to phishing awareness campaigns, they've hooked us on the best parts of cybersecurity.

They are also the brains behind an educational video that will assist CJUSD in further promoting cyber safety to all staff and faculty.

Congratulations to our CDC Apprentices and the IT Department at Colton Joint Unified. Your work together inspires us and makes us thankful to be a part of the fun.

The energy of our recent Pathfinder Day event is still electrifying! ⚡

Students often hear about the real world of work. As instructors do wonders in preparing students for their next steps after graduation, there is something quite impactful about students engaging directly with employers and their spaces.

Pathfinder Day recently brought together the City and County of Riverside with Riverside Unified School District and placed San Bernardino City Unified's Cajon High School in the Irvine Databank Center.

It was an extraordinary day that revealed how technology and civic duty merge, giving students a unique insight into the city's tech-driven operations. From exploring the innovations and technologies department to hands-on experience with network infrastructure, the journey was more than just a walkthrough—it was an upfront view of how technology fuels efficiency and progress. City staff also showcased pathways to tech careers, highlighting internships, certifications, and local academic programs.

Pathfinder Day's success is lit by the collaboration between organizations beyond traditional education to offer students real-world insights. A huge thanks to the City of Riverside, RCIT, and Databank for creating meaningful micro-internships that prepare Southern California's students not only to face the future but also to forge it.

We joined the and Fontana Unified School District yesterday to celebrate the INCREDIBLE work that has taken place over the past year. Students revealed their vision and concepts that may assist in the plan for their Downtown Arts & Entertainment district.

The City wanted to know what the next generation wants to see in their community and man did the respond! With miniature models and conversations about their plans, students demonstrated what they had in mind for their city 💭✨ Huge shoutout to City of Fontana for their partnership with FUSD and for tapping into the powerful talent that exists in their city. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Congratulations to Hillary Wolfe on leading such an impactful initiative. We were thrilled to be a part of the journey and had a wonderful time creating masterclasses that connected the Future Shapers to industry leaders and potentially…their future employer! 😉

Throwback to when Future Shaper, Maya of Fontana Unified School District, locked into the Teamsters Local 1932 masterclass that shed light on unions, workplace efforts, and what Teamsters is doing to advance its members' social, economic, and educational welfare.

As Maya prepares for the final Innovation Showcase of the Future Shapers Academy, she reflects on the journey thus far, noting how far she and her classmates have come and how exciting it is to watch it all come together.
